School and transgendered awesomeness

So I only have one class yet for the semester, then I get nearly a month of a break. Awesomeness. I've been going on 1-3 hours of sleep per night, and I have no idea why I'm writing this when I should be working on my projects for my Graphic Design class or sleeping. But, I did well on my portrait that I did for my Analysis of Form class. I ended up doing around 30+ hours of work on it, and I got the A- for the project I so madly craved. Fuck yes.

I ended up botching my other two finals for it, though, and I got a B on my Sketching for Communication final and a C- on my Color and Design dealy. But eh, my other grades in the class were enough to raise me up, so I think I'm not doing too badly.

Anyhoo, so I was checking some blogs, and I found out that in FRESNO, a transgendered person became Prom Queen!!! Holy fucking shit! How awesome is that! It really gives me hope that in a city known for its conservative views (the whole Central Valley is one big Republican shithole), a transgendered prom queen is possible. Fuck YES!! So fucking cool.

Also: I'm sad for all the Warriors fans out there who were disappointed by the last few games. It was awesome that they got so far, but alas, the magic ran out.

It's also nice to know that amid all the walking art school stereotypes at Academy, there are some really cool, genuine people. It gives me hope yet.
