So there are two new poems on my
BoyInCorner poetry page, and five new pics up on my
I Will Eat Your Soul photo page, including one of Lori and I. I know that a lot of people don't think she exists, as you can't find her on facebook (she's not on! GASP!) but so you can stalk us easier, we're both on the photo page.
So yesterday I tried to change the oil on my car, but I basically succeeded in only stripping the bolt. Thus, I either have to buy a device to grip stripped bolts, or get it professionally done. Shitty. Either way, I'll be spending more money on the car, but it needs to be done. I think this is the only time I haven't wanted something stripped down. Sigh.
So after that big waste of time, I ended up picking up the Stagecraft lights, and picking out bindings and boots and googles at REI. Someone unnamed might *wink wink*be hooking me up with a discount there, so yeah, hopefully I'll get that gear soon. I also bought some snowboarding clothes, so I don't freeze my ass off up there. I can't believe how fucking expense all the new stuff is. Thus, I went for all the old 2003 season stuff, cuz I'm cheap and don't care abou the newest trendy gear. Just keep me warm and function right, and I'm good to go.
Gotta get stuff ready for the show this weekend. Sigh. It's already here. Oompf. So much stuff to take care of, it's crazy. I'm going to say that I probably won't blog until after this show (although I probably will end up doing so to distract me from all the crap I have to take care of), but so if you don't see anything new this week, don't be disappointed.
Having a show after Thanksgiving is so hard. Not only is it a sudden slap in the face in terms of stress and stuff I have to do, but it's just a huge transition from the break.
Oh yeah, last night I ended up studying with Annalyn, who I made an OJ run for, since she was sick. It was nice hanging out/studying with her, cuz I haven't had a chance to really hang out with her for most of the semester. I also hung out with her a bit tonight, while I worked on editing the Intro video and wrote emails to Rice.
I still have a response to write, two essays to work on, and two finals to study for, even though I was supposed to get most of that stuff done this weekend. Sigh. At least I have late finals. Classes end on the 10th, and my first final is on the 16th. And then I have 4 days until my next hard final. Score. Man, I'm so locking myself in and unplugging my computer during finals week.
Anyway, I'm still fighting a cold, so I should get to bed now. Goodnight world!

Papa John: Thanks for the advice...that is definitely something I need to watch out. Hope Mitch is taking good care of you homie. We need to go snowboarding sometime (ie when I get my shit together and learn how to board)
